Executive Leader in Agricultural Finance

I'm Jody Campbell, an experienced financial executive with extensive expertise in agricultural lending, credit management, and risk analysis.

Serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Alabama Farm Credit since 2019, my role involves leading a team of 63 employees, including eight direct reports.

Mentoring senior leaders and preparing the next generation remain my central priorities, ensuring the team is ready to meet the ever-evolving needs of the agricultural community. I'm grateful for the positive impact I have on the next generation of agricultural lending experts.

My responsibilities include oversight of lending, credit, portfolio management, and operations. Building a high-performing team, expanding market presence, and diversifying the portfolio to mitigate risk while unlocking new revenue streams, have been my overarching objectives.

Leading initiatives such as launching Agribusiness and Centralized Lending departments have enhanced efficiency and elevated the customer experience.

Some of my achievements include leading the organization to nearly 50% loan growth while strengthening the portfolio and reducing risk. Additionally, an investment portfolio was established to deliver over $125 million in new assets, generating non-patronage income.
